GPS Warning - Do not trust Google Maps blindly! Apparenly it often takes people to the wrong side of the complex. Read the official directions before you leave. I drove around in circles for 20 minutes and almost gave up.

Wheely Friendly?
Yes. It’s a massive, spacious area. I was able to push 1-month-old Gabe in the stroller while he napped, and there is a designated stroller parking area if you want to get hands-on in the "city."
The Snack Situation:
No outside food is allowed (except water), but the in-house Munchies Cafe is surprisingly well-stocked with everything from quick snacks to hot meals and coffee.
Potty Proximity:
Bathrooms are easy to find and fully equipped with change tables.
Mum Musings: The Solo Milestone
Kidtropolis is an amazing indoor mini city that takes kids pretend-play to another level. This was my first-ever solo outing with Yuyu and baby Gabe (who was only 1 month old at the time) . In hindsight, I’m not entirely sure why I thought driving all the way to Richmond for my first excursion was a good idea, but we made it.
Having a tea party in the play kitchen.
Pretending like she loves all her vegetables while grocery shopping for produce.
The "City" Experience: The level of detail is amazing. We "visited" the dentist, the police station, the grocery store, the garage and so much more.
I loved that I could actually play with her, having a pretend tea party or being her patient at the "Doctor's office."
The Jungle Gym & The Massage Chair
There is a large jungle gym/play structure that Yuyu loved, but it’s definitely geared toward slightly older kids. Since she was 2.5, I had to climb in there with her.
Bring socks! They are mandatory for the play structure.
The Longing Stare: They have coin-operated massage chairs ( I was told it’s approx $3 for 2 mins) . While solo parenting, I couldn't actually use them, but I stared at them with deep, spiritual longing. Bring coins just in case you get 5-minutes!
Toddler Tolerance Level:
2 Hours. You can stay as long as you like once you've entered, but after two hours of high-intensity "pretend life," we were all tapped out.
Nap Roulette Options?
Oh I went straight home after this huge milestone of leaving the house solo with the two kids and returning mostly intact. We headed home to celebrate with Yuyu having a nap.
